I've bought the game with beta access($45), does it still show demo version when I open the game, or it's my own problem? If it is, can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Question: Is there a time limit on the remaining 4 Ranch Employee NPC's? Like, will they be up for grabs up until the 1st beta test, or will they be removed sooner/later than that?

I'm playing the demo version and I've met all the characters but hunny?. Is there a particularly location in the game i need to visit in order to see his character?.

The campaign is done :). It originally went until January 31 but was extended another 2 months until March 31. I think we've gotten all the characters that we're gonna get at this point :)
I also think there will definitely be more "H" scenes in that there are more love interests, and we just got news via twitter that at least 1 character will have 20 CG's (Moocha), so all love interests might have a bit more CG/h scene content than the Seiyuu Danshi characters.
However, I think the actual length of 1 route will be the same as Seiyuu Danshi--while there are 3 years in Banana Ranch vs Seiyuu Danshi's 1 year, they are broken up into 4 seasons rather than twelve months. So, instead of playing 12 months with 30 days each for 1 year (12 x 30 x 1 = 360 "days"), you play 4 "seasons" with 30 days each for 3 years (4 x 30 x 3 = 360 "days"), so it works out to around the same length ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I really loved Seiyuu Danshi (still do) I played the demo of Banana Ranch so I'm having really high expectation. I sincerely thank you for your hard effort!
I'm confused whats going on? so i preordered it and when its released would i get a notification to tell me i can download it? is it the full game and will the new available characters be released with it? im lost help a fellow person :(
The Funding Campaign is over. Beta Testers will be able to play each route as the developer completes them so as to provide bug feedback. The completed game isn't expected until an as of yet determined date. The additional romance routes have, as you'd expect, pushed the release date back by quite a bit.
I would imagine that those who purchased packages that included Beta Testing as a perk will recieve some manner of notification when each route is ready to play.
Just putting this out there for any fellow dummies like me who didn't realize this--Meyaoi has a Twitter account that has many more updates on the development of this game! It appears to get Banana Ranch related posts/tweets pretty frequently, so I'd totally recommend keeping tabs on Twitter as well as here if you want lots of updates on how the game is progressing 😉👍
Basically, beta testing with 1 romantic route will start in around a year-ish (Q1 2021 = Jan-Mar 2021) with the official game release slated for Q4 2022 (Oct-Dec 2022 = approx 2.75 years from now). Hope that helps! :)
Is there any way or tiny chance Haves can be included as a bonus or something. I may be the only one willing to be a mysterious old owl's lab experiment, but still, he was the most interesting one to me. There has to be a way, please?

I want him to honestly (more than the wolf). But sadly, it doesn't look like we'll get him. I do like the wolf though, but Howl is the type I'd love to see in the story. We'll likely get the wolf (about 50/50). Maybe tomorrow Meyaoi will show that we got both? I don't think we did though, at least now Howl =(
Lol, the furry-ness may contribute, but I think he's cool enough that he intrigues a lot of "non-furry's" too--or at least people who wouldn't typically identify themselves as a furry (like, does shipping Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia make me a furry? Like, it's not that I find anthropomorphic animals especially sexy, but I think relationships between them can be interesting? But it's on the same level of interest that I hold human couples or alien/fantasy couples. Does that make me a furry?? I don't know!)
Heh, I'm interested in the Howl route more because I like the fact that he's a police officer who is also the subject of discrimination from what I read? Which could prove to be an interesting storyline. I just hope that me getting the complete physical pack just now helps push it to or over the goal!
Yes, you hit the nail on the head about what's so interesting about him! He's definitely feared by members of the community for being mostly "beast," and is thus fairly mysterious--like, he doesn't appear to have any friends or anyone who knows him well. Also, the police thing is pretty cool--I was pretty stoked when we got Ginger as a Route Character too :). But the fact that he's such an enigma and feared entity in the community but still became the chief of police says he's definitely got a strong character and goes for what he wants, which is admirable :)
I'm hoping that's the case--cuz if we don't make it, it'll probably only be by maybe $200 at most which is SO CLOSE that 5 more beta access purchases will make up the difference, which will undoubtedly happen in April, so hopefully she'll still give us Howl? Hopefully?? I know a lot of people will be super bummed if we don't get him even though we were so close :(

Only 2 main NPC's and 4 Ranch Employees left to go, so grab them up by the 31st~~the physical rewards will still be available after, but not the designable characters, so get'em while you still can ;p. (Seriously, 1 more main NPC + 1 Ranch Employee, and we have Howl in the bag XD).
Also, I hope everyone is staying smart, safe, and calm in this time of upheaval <3. Stay home if you can, catch up on all those movies/books/video games you haven't had time to play, and keep social distancing (2 metres) and wash your hands often if you still have to venture out to work like I do :)
I have a feeling that's an ambitious and time-consuming endeavor that they won't do (^_^). Needing to get the game working on a different operating system, on a smaller scale, etc. would be an entirely new project with probably little financial benefit.
I have an idea! What if MeYaoi allowed us to raise the rest of the money for Howl's route when the campaign ends? Since so many people have already given money for his route and are hoping for it. We've already raised almost 2000$ for him and we'll probably raise up to 3000$ by the end of March. But we may not be able to raise all of it...😔

Oh, i purchased the $45 tier a little over a week ago. I was just saying that if I had known about this project back when it first started i would've saved more for it.
Gdnarned it, hey? That's awesome that you're part of the beta team now, but I must concur that as someone who discovered the game in around November, it gave me more time to both save money and convince myself to spend it on this game (^_^;). Probably too much, to be honest, but I figured that I have a job and don't really spend my money on much besides necessities, so supporting an indie game developer to create another fabulous game seemed a decent way to spend it ;p
(Seriously--I spent a LOT. Like, it started with the $45.00 beta access [which is really like $60.00 to me since I'm Canadian]...but then a month later, I thought that the Ranch Employee pledge sounded like a really cool way to be a part of the game, and it had the lowest price of that reward tier, so, hey! Why not? But then...once I was communicating with the developer around a month after that about my character design, I found that I loved the process SO MUCH that I wondered how much MORE exciting it would be to design a main NPC!........so yeah, that love hotel couple is mine (^_^;). I probably spent around a total $2,015 Canadian dollars in pledges for this game...all I can say is the process has been super fun, and I'm banking on Meyaoi's good track record on seeing this game thru, cuz it's a legit investment for me now, lol)

I found Seiyuu Danshi by accident about a year ago and decided to try it since I liked the art work and how versatile the gameplay was (which is pretty nonexistent for VNs). I fell in love with the characters almost immediately, and kind of the same thing, I was like "Why have i not seen this anywhere before!?"
And then i saw it wasn't free and was like "oh...that's why".
And then i found Banana Ranch only at the end of last month and was like "Mother ######!"
Then i saw the cat cafe tier and was like "Why did i have to happen to just buy a new car!?!?"
Yeah, I'm pretty excited! XD. And ah man, bad timing with the car! I'm living that city bus life, which is a pain but definitely is saving me money for now. And that cat cafe tier was pretty tempting--I almost went for that one, but decided that since it was the actual *designing* part that got me excited, I'd get more bang for my buck with the hotel couple (^_^;).
And wow, my experience of finding Seiyuu Danshi is almost the same as yours, except I pretty much found it the month it officially released. So, I was more like, "Why I no find you in development stage?!"
Okie doke, ladies and gents! We're making some good progress, but if we wanna see $45,000 by the end of the month, we need to raise around $1,230 per week to make it! WE CAN DO IT!!! FOR HOWL!!! ୧(ᗒᗨᗕ)୨
(This works out to around 41 new pre-orders per week OR 28 new beta-access purchases per week--and that's not even counting possible Ranch Employee or Main NPC pledges! It's totally achievable guys, we got 'dis! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧)

Is there a way to change/upgrade my purchase? I clicked on the first button without realizing the second tier to buying gave beta access? I'd gladly give the difference in cost to upgrade from pre-order to beta if that was an option?!
It really varies, unfortunately (^_^;). The patterns I've noticed are either weekly, every 10 days, middle of the month, or end of the month. So, I'd say it will probably be updated next either on the 10th, 13th, or 15th :). There's always a curve-ball chance of Meyaoi updating sooner, but those are my best guesses.
Lol, yeah, that's my hope as well...I'm hoping seeing progress (or lack there of) will help motivate people to contribute. I guess we'll find out on Tuesday ^_^

It's so cool that we were able to get this goal (40k)! Grizz is so hot and lovely, i love him! Great pledge people!))) Now, I really hope that we can reach Howl. Like centaurs, this character is very unique and very promising! We just have to get him too. We have almost an entire month for that guys, don't slow down ^_^
Right?! I want Howl to be a possible love interest SO BADLY! And if we raised $3,367 in 13 days, we can certainly (hopefully!) raise another $4,195 in 30 days! I'm really hoping people buy up more of the ranch employees & main NPC's as we get closer to the final deadline--the 3 other main NPC's and 3 more ranch Employee's would get us to our goal!
Well, you would get it sooner than those who only pre-ordered it since having beta-access means testing the game and giving feedback as it's developed. As for whether some beta-testers would get access sooner than others, I don't think that's how it works. Since we're pledging to have access to early versions of the game to provide feedback & test things, it would be pretty inefficient to release these test versions of the game at different times to different people (￣∇￣")
If you were to pledge more than $45, you get a digital fanbook as well if you pledge $60, and the next jump is to $100 for all of that plus some physical merchandise (and further pledge amounts will net increased rewards if they hit certain target amounts). But no, I don't think you get any added benefit if you pledge, say, $50 instead of $45.

Though the game has no offical date guide, I can already tell that Howl is going to be the hardet one to romance

I really hope that we can do it! I am disappointed with the new results, but I still hope in the next week pledge will be more successful.

Is there a way to change/upgrade my purchase? I clicked on the first button without realizing the second tier to buying gave beta access? I'd gladly give the difference in cost to upgrade from pre-order to beta if that was an option?!
Currently, there's no way to directly upgrade your purchase in itch.io. What you can do instead is:

how often do they update the amount of collected funds?
It really varies, unfortunately (^_^;). The patterns I've noticed are either weekly, every 10 days, middle of the month, or end of the month. So, I'd say it will probably be updated next either on the 10th, 13th, or 15th :). There's always a curve-ball chance of Meyaoi updating sooner, but those are my best guesses.
Ugh....Well, let's hope it's at least weekly since this is the last month and all.
Lol, yeah, that's my hope as well...I'm hoping seeing progress (or lack there of) will help motivate people to contribute. I guess we'll find out on Tuesday ^_^

It's so cool that we were able to get this goal (40k)! Grizz is so hot and lovely, i love him! Great pledge people!))) Now, I really hope that we can reach Howl. Like centaurs, this character is very unique and very promising! We just have to get him too. We have almost an entire month for that guys, don't slow down ^_^
Right?! I want Howl to be a possible love interest SO BADLY! And if we raised $3,367 in 13 days, we can certainly (hopefully!) raise another $4,195 in 30 days! I'm really hoping people buy up more of the ranch employees & main NPC's as we get closer to the final deadline--the 3 other main NPC's and 3 more ranch Employee's would get us to our goal!
If I purchase more than 45 bucks and get beta access, will I be able to play the game earlier than those who purchased less than 45?
Well, you would get it sooner than those who only pre-ordered it since having beta-access means testing the game and giving feedback as it's developed. As for whether some beta-testers would get access sooner than others, I don't think that's how it works. Since we're pledging to have access to early versions of the game to provide feedback & test things, it would be pretty inefficient to release these test versions of the game at different times to different people (￣∇￣")
If you were to pledge more than $45, you get a digital fanbook as well if you pledge $60, and the next jump is to $100 for all of that plus some physical merchandise (and further pledge amounts will net increased rewards if they hit certain target amounts). But no, I don't think you get any added benefit if you pledge, say, $50 instead of $45.
