I re-downloaded the Mac file, but the talk show event for Kaede doesn't show up on 11 December for me and the audition stays on the "Available" tab. ;_;
There are no cheats to fill relationship stars or heart.
To fill up his stars hangout with him on each day of the week, each day Monday-Saturday will unlock a new cut scene which will progress your star meter. If you for example did hangout with him on 5 days but missed let's say Wednesday , because you decided to do something else then the next week you need to go visit him on the day you missed.
Also if you haven't gotten into the TV station then do that.
PS. You can get your 50k back if you do the quest for the guard in the cinema
yea if you visit say only on Monday's (other than shuu as far as i know since so far theres only 2 days you can see him on) then your star meter wont fill up

Hi, I've got a question about Shiba's route. I'm at the first Sunday since Haato and Shiba became lovers, so it's their first time, and the shower scene I keep getting is with Shiba on the bottom. I can't figure out why he is though, since I play Haato as an entirely submissive bottom and I've let him take initiative during the only foreplay we've done so far, plus at the end of the foreplay mode, Haato was bottom. I'd appreciate any help anyone can give!
P.S. I'm trying to get Haato to bottom in both the end of the foreplay mode and the shower scene.
I have the same question but with the opposite position my first time with Shiba my Haato was the top but in the shower scene Haato was the bottom. I wonder if maybe the CG's were mixed up or if it's an intentional switch
Haha, we literally have entirely opposite problems XD And it's possible that the scenes were mixed up by accident. Btw, how did you get Haato to top? I'm curious since I'm not really sure how to manage that with only one foreplay scene.
When you use the foreplay mode when whoever your romancing says "I'm about to come" (or something similar to that) and a little red heart pops up that sits under the sex toys button click on it then Haato will take the lead and either dominate top by fucking him doggy or power bottom by riding him, you can choose which one :3
You can also get your guy to power bottom or submissive top just depending on how you use those 2 choices, but basically if u click the heart Haato will dominate and if you don't click it and let your guy take the lead they will dominate.
I have a quick question, I'm currently on the lovers route for Hikaru but every time we go to the love hotel and try to have sex we can figure out who will be bottom. I'm curious if there is any tips or requirements I have to do in order to do it? I got a bit used to how easy it was to woo Shuu.

No, you need to win too. For his route, you need to win Seiyuu Award to unlock both his bad ending and best ending. It branches out at the end (I think it is a pretty obvious branch)

cuz hikaru just vanished out of his clothes during our date at the arcade. Just his shirt and sunglasses were there. currently lovers with him and it's august 17 in-game, and wearing preppy style. This happened while progressing through the initial dialogue before the actual date sim part started. One of the times I clicked he just vanished for about 2 or 3 clicks of dialogue and then reappeared.
Out of curiousity what is the difference between 3 star 4 star and 5 star audition. (is it just cosmetic or do you get a fame boost? Also whats the earliest you can get bast 2 star toru. I always seem to get stuck on 1 3/4 star until after the vacation no matter how many times i visit him (also i have max heart level)
As far as II'm aware, there's NO difference in the Audition scores. I've received the same fame and money regardless of if I got a four or five star rating. The only thing that changes is what the interviewer says about your performance, I think. :3
YO I AM SO HAPPY YOU GIRLS FINALLY RELEASED SEIYUU DANSHI!!! I shit you not, since the 4th, I've been playing SD for 10+ hours a day [ totally took paid vacation days lolololol ]. ANYWAY, congratulations and I'm super stoked to see most of the bugs worked out!
That being said, there's one thing I mentioned to you ~4-5 months ago that's still a bit bothersome. I know that we can't do anything other than dates on Sundays, which is totally fine, but I think it's reasonable to say that the majority of players MAY want to spend parts of the LONGER holidays making cash, doing side-quests, going shopping for clothes / furniture, taking extra VA classes, and so on. Maybe something to consider in future patches if enough people share my opinion~
ASIDE FROM THAT SINGULAR COMPLAINT, everything is utterly --AMAZING--!!! As soon as the full game was released I downloaded and installed it, even started a whole new play-through [ made it up to November in the Beta release I had access to ], and I have to say that it runs FLAWLESSLY so far! The Stat system is beautiful; some auditions I can breeze right through, allowing me time to focus on raising my Charm / Affection / Intelligence. For other auditions, I have to HAUL ASS to take 3 VA classes, AND use my computer at home to bump up my Characterization / Technique until I make it -- and it is SATISFYING. AS. HELL. when I finally do the night before the Audition!
I would LOVE to give you guys a full, unbiased review in the future once it's voiced if you guys are open to that. FOR NOW THOUGH, I would like to offer to proof-read for you; I noticed a LOT of grammatical errors, punctuation mistakes, weird word choices and so on. I'm currently doing the same thing for the Yaoi VN Beyond Eden, but I will GLADLY make time for Seiyuu Danshi since it's literally just been released. So as a side note, I did an entire playthrough with Shiba and got the best ending. And never got the chance to use the Dog outfit I bought from the bear at the love hotel. I spent the 20,000 yen and was never able to select it in outfits or got an event where we used it. =T

I am loving the game so far.. although, there are a couple auditions that are on the same date, is that on purpose? I think it's the teacher and I and the other one was Love and war.. Also I've seen a couple of auditions that are so close to each other that it's impossible to get the required stats (story of eternia, and movie narrator) I was hoping that in the VA school for extra lessons, we can get extra lessons that give higher stats for a bigger fee, kinda like a level II lesson, right now I've taken a dozen of them but they are still Level I?
Yep i believe its to simulate the fact that irl jobs tend to overlap at time. As for the stat issue, you can save scum right when cat-boy says "thanks" just save and click,, if you gert below 10 just load again. The amount you increase is random when the learning anim starts. (Same for computer stuying. I recommend only purchasing the computer and spending money only on studying unti yourstats get high.(with the exception of trait items for jobs and dates, though try to always keep your money above your next rent amount) I hav 230, 460, 120 on june 1st (technique shouldnt need to go above 450 iirc, though i havent finnished a playthrough yet (got rekt by tha landlord on the first 50k day.) I am not ashamed to save scum a bit if it means experiencing this wonderful game. I hope this blueb helps.
Okay so I've not finished the game (only one route so far, so, yeah...), and it's definitely awesome.
I often mourn the lack of enough interactivity in many simulation vn, so I've been keeping an eye on your game for a while and I'm extremely glad you could make it ! The characters, even the minor ones are all interesting and I personally found the quest system on point. Every interaction was engaging, and the art made it all better ahah.
Regarding the difficulty I found it pretty much normal actually ? It was nice to have a balance between some auditions I could breeze through stat-wise, and some where I had to work for a little. It prevents the learning system from becoming useless too soon even if at end you mostly roll with the punches (or maybe that's just me, I tend to save-scum a lot in stat-raising games at the beggining so it sure helps with getting ahead).
And because of that last habit, my end-game was a bit empty on events and quests despite the sheer number of them. So I'm probably biased, but on future projects (because I sure hope you will envisage to create more at some point !) maybe it would be beneficial to have a date-locked requirement on quests to keep a bit of harmony in the repartition of quantity ? But that's just the only (subjective) fault I could find in all this awesomeness.
I think people may find the game more punishing than what it really is either due to a lack of familiarity with these type of games or a guide/walkthrough to deal with all the information. The majority of sim games out there are a tad more demanding than this one.
So in short, thank you for this game, your reactivity regarding the bugs, not abandoning this project, and all the hard work you put into it. It shows. Please take care of yourself and enjoy the aftermath of your efforts.
Hey I'm loving the game so far! Just wanted to ask before I continue pouring in hours...I'm on 22nd March, been having moments with Hikaru and such during the weekdays but I still haven't gotten his number yet so I can't take him out on dates! Did I miss something or do i need to get to a certain status to get his number (we're acquaintances atm). I did continue my full release copy from a save file of the extended demo previously so I fear, I might have messed the files and this playthrough? -_-; Many thanks!
Hikaru's number is the hardest to get (I think you get it after becoming friends? I kinda forget but not at acquaintance). Just don't forget to enter the TV station because that's where most of his important events are.
Just wanted to let you know that after the cutscene at the bookstore with Shuu, this popped up. Setting this aside, this is a great game!! I'm glad I purchased it uwu

Have you spent time with him on weekdays in all the places he is in? (agency, VA school, park). The route progression is locked in weekdays spending time events.
Keep spending time with him on weekdays even if there's no events from it. I had the same problem with that last star but eventually he confessed after around a month of constant stalking for my playthrough
I'm havuing this issue too its aklready late september and for 2 months all i've been doing is visiting him everyday. (and jobs i power leveled my stgats super early)
What I did was to get a pet and the cheapest pc asap. Use the pc to up VA stats and play with the pet when stress hits 40. I then used the daytime on weekdays to stalk the guy. Relying on auditions for the cash only after Toru apeared.
If i recall right he confessed around mid july after stalking from Jan to Jul... continue stalking after to get Toru's back story (not sure if necessary)
is it possible to get help for Kaede's route? Im at the beginning and I get to the part he goes to you outside but no matter what I choose I don't seem to see him at all afterwards. any help would be appreciated.
I have the same issue, after rejecting the one night stand I've been going to the bar for work and drinks every night for 1 1/2 months, yet haven't seen him once. Is this common? Is there some specific months he appears? Is it if i only go to work at to the bar? Or for drinks? I'm mid-march now, going to the bar non stop since February.

But how do you get the bad ending? Do you have to not fill the heart meter and lose the award or does it not matter if you win or lose if you atleast didnt max out the heart meter. If anyone got a bad ending id like to hear how you did it.
It's kinda different for character, and telling the choices outright would be kinda spoilery, but bad ending is received mostly by choosing the "wrong choice" during an important scene. It mostly doesn't matter whether you win or not, but for Toru, you actually need to win the Seiyuu Award to get the bad end.
Oh hey thats neat, thanks for clarifying. I just achieved Hikarus best ending so i was gonna go for the normal and bad one for him because im a 100% hoe. Anyways i've been meaning to suggest a way to speed up the game since most of the cutscenes drag out for very long (School, Day transition to the next Day) I know that TAB turns on skip mode but only till a scene is over, so id really wish it would stay on even after entering a new area or when you arrive home. Also the school scenes dont seem to be skippable. Im sorry if my suggestion sounds rude, but they are pretty crucial if one goes for another run because they forgot a CG opportunity. The concept overall is great and ive been really enjoying this game so far.
Also another great addition would be the feature of scene shortcuts, when you achieve someones best ending, to be able to start for example at the Fireworks festival. It would be fantastic if you would take this into consideration.

Has anyone tried to buy any sexy adult toys from the guy in the park? The one dressed in black and holding a sign in his hands. I bought 2 and they don't appear during the hotel scene and the description for the 1st item (vibrator) and the 4 item (No idea what those are. To me it looked like human size versions of milkers but I could be wrong) seem the same.

Is there any way to activate all cheats at once without finishing each guy's route? I know you get one cheat per best ending, but replaying the same sections of the game for the second time is honestly tiring. Maybe somebody has 100% save file already?

Agreed! I actually like stat raising games a lot, but going through the same thing twice is boring, especially since there are so many stuff to take care of.
Unfortunately the only way to get the cheats is to get the good ends with every dateable character, each having their own specific ones. I was in the same predicament as both of you, close to getting a bad end, but I didn't finish it and replayed the game. In my more recent playthroughs I have a technique to focus more on Haato's VA skills rather than the boys themselves, if you don't know how to raise specific stats, go to the VA school and talk to the boy in cat ears. He is the receptionist for extra classes! For different traits go to the book store or go to the restaraunt for food. If you want to get any sex toys, raise your knowledge to genius by reading books at the book store or going to the Agency. Want to raise affection to indifferent, caring, affectioante, or saint? Donate to the shrine! Want to raise Charm? Work at the store as a part-time job or look in Haato's mirror. Want a pet? Talk to the blonde priest and she will ask you to feed all the strays (you of course have to visit the store to get dog and cat food). The dog is very useful! If reduses stress to zero! Speaking of stress keep a keen eye on it, if it goes above 50 Haato will start spending his money for some fun and lose some stress, its especially bad near being close to his rent payment date. MOST IMPORTANTLY save before each audition so if you fail (or are like me being a perfectionst) you can reload and fix up whatever mistakes you've made. If you have anymore questions I'm sure I can give more assistance. Hopefully Meyaoi doesn't mind me giving some tips.
I know all those things you've listed. I've finished one route already. It's just boring to do the same thing every time with only a little bit of help instead of having all cheats available. I'm playing another route with full voice acting skills and it's still a chore. I just wish someone would share 100% save file.
I don't have the time to make the save file, but people are free to share their save files if they want to (though I don't think anyone has 100% the game by now)
I'm really enjoying this game (Just completed my first playthrough - Toru's bad ending ;_;) but it really needs an extensive proofreading. The grammatical errors are pretty jarring. It's not so bad that you can't understand everything, but I get kicked out of gamer-mode into editor-mode every time it happens. And it happens a lot.
Is there a Discord server for this game? Like for discussing it and sharing hints? I feel like that might be a faster way for people to get help when they're stuck and also to spread the love. If there's not one, would anyone be interested in joining one if it was made?
Regarding the text message feature, does it matter what your reply is or is there a better answer among the two choices? In Toru's route, there's a replyable text message--but regardless of whichever reply I choose, he replies the same thing. Is this a bug or nah?

Ho-ho-ho, I played a Shiba route and when I adopted a dog that has a Shiba inu breed and named it "Shiba" , there was a secret(?) dialogue when Haato called him to tell about his new pet. :D
i think he calls whomever is closest to, to tell him about his pet. even though i'd had a dog for weeks, after hikaru went to friends or crush (can't remember which) haato called him to tell him about the dog.
I mean, I called this dog(shiba inu) as "Shiba", and when Haato called Shiba and said that he adopted a dog AND gave it his name, Shiba was surprised and blushed . Too much Shiba :D
What exactly is being checked at the Audition for the radio host job? Multiple times, I've gone to that Audition with the required stats and then been told I didn't get the job. There's no mini-game and the game doesn't tell you if it's checking other stats or requirements so I have no idea what I need to get it.
do you have the correct traits? there's two traits you need to have. one you get from reading a book, the other you get from eating katsudon at the restaurant (whichever one gives you "energetic" as a trait)
so far loving it, but there need to be like a help ledger i feel completely lost about gaining certain skills also the date outfits are a bit glitchy it has like a blank person with ??? Do certain guys like certain clothes and help you gain pts faster and whats the blue in the heart im wooing the heck outta shuu and its like mostly red with a bit of blue its end of may and i just got crush status...is that to slow? Im trying to balance everything and i saw you said shuu needs max money what does that mean?
I didn't become lovers with Shuu until end of June, so you're probably fine. He went from crush to love really quick since I kept stalking him around town. Shuu likes the casual clothes, which is nice because they're also the cheapest. :D Wearing the clothes gets you a compliment and I think a boost to his happiness on the date. (You have to be head to toe in the look though, so be prepared for some terrible hats.)
Oh, and red in the heart is love points, blue is friendship points. If you're at crush, I doubt you have to worry about being friendzoned, which apparently is a thing that can happen.

Yup, I took the job on 2 December, but the event didn't show up when it hit 11 December.
If it helps, I triggered both Kaede and Kei’s events throughout the game.

It is Tocchan you need to get the best end at. Then, start game from beginning and apply his cheat.
For Kei? I thought that was for Kaede or am I mixing them up?
Both secret characters are unlocked by applying Tocchan's cheat. For Kei, it is an additional requirement that you are at least friends with Hikaru.

I think that has been reported before and fixed in super latest version.

There is 1 audition that gives you additional job if you perfect it.

I know that we can't do anything other than dates on Sundays, which is totally fine, but I think it's reasonable to say that the majority of players MAY want to spend parts of the LONGER holidays making cash, doing side-quests, going shopping for clothes / furniture, taking extra VA classes, and so on. Maybe something to consider in future patches if enough people share my opinion~
ASIDE FROM THAT SINGULAR COMPLAINT, everything is utterly --AMAZING--!!! As soon as the full game was released I downloaded and installed it, even started a whole new play-through [ made it up to November in the Beta release I had access to ], and I have to say that it runs FLAWLESSLY so far! The Stat system is beautiful; some auditions I can breeze right through, allowing me time to focus on raising my Charm / Affection / Intelligence. For other auditions, I have to HAUL ASS to take 3 VA classes, AND use my computer at home to bump up my Characterization / Technique until I make it -- and it is SATISFYING. AS. HELL. when I finally do the night before the Audition!
I would LOVE to give you guys a full, unbiased review in the future once it's voiced if you guys are open to that. FOR NOW THOUGH, I would like to offer to proof-read for you; I noticed a LOT of grammatical errors, punctuation mistakes, weird word choices and so on. I'm currently doing the same thing for the Yaoi VN Beyond Eden, but I will GLADLY make time for Seiyuu Danshi since it's literally just been released. So as a side note, I did an entire playthrough with Shiba and got the best ending. And never got the chance to use the Dog outfit I bought from the bear at the love hotel. I spent the 20,000 yen and was never able to select it in outfits or got an event where we used it. =T
That scene is auto triggered on weekdays spending time events after you get the costume.

I am loving the game so far.. although, there are a couple auditions that are on the same date, is that on purpose? I think it's the teacher and I and the other one was Love and war.. Also I've seen a couple of auditions that are so close to each other that it's impossible to get the required stats (story of eternia, and movie narrator) I was hoping that in the VA school for extra lessons, we can get extra lessons that give higher stats for a bigger fee, kinda like a level II lesson, right now I've taken a dozen of them but they are still Level I?
Yep i believe its to simulate the fact that irl jobs tend to overlap at time. As for the stat issue, you can save scum right when cat-boy says "thanks" just save and click,, if you gert below 10 just load again. The amount you increase is random when the learning anim starts. (Same for computer stuying. I recommend only purchasing the computer and spending money only on studying unti yourstats get high.(with the exception of trait items for jobs and dates, though try to always keep your money above your next rent amount) I hav 230, 460, 120 on june 1st (technique shouldnt need to go above 450 iirc, though i havent finnished a playthrough yet (got rekt by tha landlord on the first 50k day.) I am not ashamed to save scum a bit if it means experiencing this wonderful game. I hope this blueb helps.
Okay so I've not finished the game (only one route so far, so, yeah...), and it's definitely awesome.
I often mourn the lack of enough interactivity in many simulation vn, so I've been keeping an eye on your game for a while and I'm extremely glad you could make it ! The characters, even the minor ones are all interesting and I personally found the quest system on point. Every interaction was engaging, and the art made it all better ahah.
Regarding the difficulty I found it pretty much normal actually ? It was nice to have a balance between some auditions I could breeze through stat-wise, and some where I had to work for a little. It prevents the learning system from becoming useless too soon even if at end you mostly roll with the punches (or maybe that's just me, I tend to save-scum a lot in stat-raising games at the beggining so it sure helps with getting ahead).
And because of that last habit, my end-game was a bit empty on events and quests despite the sheer number of them. So I'm probably biased, but on future projects (because I sure hope you will envisage to create more at some point !) maybe it would be beneficial to have a date-locked requirement on quests to keep a bit of harmony in the repartition of quantity ? But that's just the only (subjective) fault I could find in all this awesomeness.
I think people may find the game more punishing than what it really is either due to a lack of familiarity with these type of games or a guide/walkthrough to deal with all the information. The majority of sim games out there are a tad more demanding than this one.
So in short, thank you for this game, your reactivity regarding the bugs, not abandoning this project, and all the hard work you put into it. It shows. Please take care of yourself and enjoy the aftermath of your efforts.

Just wanted to ask before I continue pouring in hours...I'm on 22nd March, been having moments with Hikaru and such during the weekdays but I still haven't gotten his number yet so I can't take him out on dates! Did I miss something or do i need to get to a certain status to get his number (we're acquaintances atm). I did continue my full release copy from a save file of the extended demo previously so I fear, I might have messed the files and this playthrough? -_-; Many thanks!
Hikaru's number is the hardest to get (I think you get it after becoming friends? I kinda forget but not at acquaintance). Just don't forget to enter the TV station because that's where most of his important events are.

Keep spending time with him on weekdays even if there's no events from it. I had the same problem with that last star but eventually he confessed after around a month of constant stalking for my playthrough
I'm havuing this issue too its aklready late september and for 2 months all i've been doing is visiting him everyday. (and jobs i power leveled my stgats super early)
What I did was to get a pet and the cheapest pc asap. Use the pc to up VA stats and play with the pet when stress hits 40. I then used the daytime on weekdays to stalk the guy. Relying on auditions for the cash only after Toru apeared.
If i recall right he confessed around mid july after stalking from Jan to Jul... continue stalking after to get Toru's back story (not sure if necessary)

I have the same issue, after rejecting the one night stand I've been going to the bar for work and drinks every night for 1 1/2 months, yet haven't seen him once. Is this common? Is there some specific months he appears? Is it if i only go to work at to the bar? Or for drinks? I'm mid-march now, going to the bar non stop since February.

It's the love hotel, but you need to go there by yourself on weekdays at night to buy costumes.
Hi got a question regarding endings if anyone would like to confirm it.

But how do you get the bad ending? Do you have to not fill the heart meter and lose the award or does it not matter if you win or lose if you atleast didnt max out the heart meter. If anyone got a bad ending id like to hear how you did it.
It's kinda different for character, and telling the choices outright would be kinda spoilery, but bad ending is received mostly by choosing the "wrong choice" during an important scene. It mostly doesn't matter whether you win or not, but for Toru, you actually need to win the Seiyuu Award to get the bad end.
Oh hey thats neat, thanks for clarifying. I just achieved Hikarus best ending so i was gonna go for the normal and bad one for him because im a 100% hoe. Anyways i've been meaning to suggest a way to speed up the game since most of the cutscenes drag out for very long (School, Day transition to the next Day) I know that TAB turns on skip mode but only till a scene is over, so id really wish it would stay on even after entering a new area or when you arrive home. Also the school scenes dont seem to be skippable. Im sorry if my suggestion sounds rude, but they are pretty crucial if one goes for another run because they forgot a CG opportunity. The concept overall is great and ive been really enjoying this game so far.
Also another great addition would be the feature of scene shortcuts, when you achieve someones best ending, to be able to start for example at the Fireworks festival. It would be fantastic if you would take this into consideration.

No, winning Seiyuu award is required for both best and bad ending. There is a branching point at the end (which is pretty obvious, I think)

I bought 2 and they don't appear during the hotel scene and the description for the 1st item (vibrator) and the 4 item (No idea what those are. To me it looked like human size versions of milkers but I could be wrong) seem the same.

Is there any way to activate all cheats at once without finishing each guy's route? I know you get one cheat per best ending, but replaying the same sections of the game for the second time is honestly tiring. Maybe somebody has 100% save file already?

Unfortunately the only way to get the cheats is to get the good ends with every dateable character, each having their own specific ones. I was in the same predicament as both of you, close to getting a bad end, but I didn't finish it and replayed the game. In my more recent playthroughs I have a technique to focus more on Haato's VA skills rather than the boys themselves, if you don't know how to raise specific stats, go to the VA school and talk to the boy in cat ears. He is the receptionist for extra classes! For different traits go to the book store or go to the restaraunt for food. If you want to get any sex toys, raise your knowledge to genius by reading books at the book store or going to the Agency. Want to raise affection to indifferent, caring, affectioante, or saint? Donate to the shrine! Want to raise Charm? Work at the store as a part-time job or look in Haato's mirror. Want a pet? Talk to the blonde priest and she will ask you to feed all the strays (you of course have to visit the store to get dog and cat food). The dog is very useful! If reduses stress to zero! Speaking of stress keep a keen eye on it, if it goes above 50 Haato will start spending his money for some fun and lose some stress, its especially bad near being close to his rent payment date. MOST IMPORTANTLY save before each audition so if you fail (or are like me being a perfectionst) you can reload and fix up whatever mistakes you've made. If you have anymore questions I'm sure I can give more assistance. Hopefully Meyaoi doesn't mind me giving some tips.
I know all those things you've listed. I've finished one route already. It's just boring to do the same thing every time with only a little bit of help instead of having all cheats available. I'm playing another route with full voice acting skills and it's still a chore. I just wish someone would share 100% save file.
I don't have the time to make the save file, but people are free to share their save files if they want to (though I don't think anyone has 100% the game by now)
I'm really enjoying this game (Just completed my first playthrough - Toru's bad ending ;_;) but it really needs an extensive proofreading. The grammatical errors are pretty jarring. It's not so bad that you can't understand everything, but I get kicked out of gamer-mode into editor-mode every time it happens. And it happens a lot.
Is there a Discord server for this game? Like for discussing it and sharing hints? I feel like that might be a faster way for people to get help when they're stuck and also to spread the love. If there's not one, would anyone be interested in joining one if it was made?
Regarding the text message feature, does it matter what your reply is or is there a better answer among the two choices? In Toru's route, there's a replyable text message--but regardless of whichever reply I choose, he replies the same thing. Is this a bug or nah?

That's a bug in initial Mac build. You'll need to re-download the latest version to fix that.
Ho-ho-ho, I played a Shiba route and when I adopted a dog that has a Shiba inu breed and named it "Shiba" , there was a secret(?) dialogue when Haato called him to tell about his new pet. :D
i think he calls whomever is closest to, to tell him about his pet. even though i'd had a dog for weeks, after hikaru went to friends or crush (can't remember which) haato called him to tell him about the dog.

I mean, I called this dog(shiba inu) as "Shiba", and when Haato called Shiba and said that he adopted a dog AND gave it his name, Shiba was surprised and blushed . Too much Shiba :D

What exactly is being checked at the Audition for the radio host job? Multiple times, I've gone to that Audition with the required stats and then been told I didn't get the job. There's no mini-game and the game doesn't tell you if it's checking other stats or requirements so I have no idea what I need to get it.
do you have the correct traits? there's two traits you need to have. one you get from reading a book, the other you get from eating katsudon at the restaurant (whichever one gives you "energetic" as a trait)

I think that's the cheat you get by completing shuu's best ending. get that ending for shuu, and you can unlock max money for future playthroughs
I didn't become lovers with Shuu until end of June, so you're probably fine. He went from crush to love really quick since I kept stalking him around town. Shuu likes the casual clothes, which is nice because they're also the cheapest. :D Wearing the clothes gets you a compliment and I think a boost to his happiness on the date. (You have to be head to toe in the look though, so be prepared for some terrible hats.)
Oh, and red in the heart is love points, blue is friendship points. If you're at crush, I doubt you have to worry about being friendzoned, which apparently is a thing that can happen.
